1988 was a historic year for many reasons:
- Unemployment was at an eight year low - just over 2,100,000
- The law changed to allow pubs to open all day
- Scott & Charlene got married on Neighbours
- The first BBC Red Nose Day raised £15,000,000 for charity
- The 'Crazy Gang' beat Liverpool in the FA Cup final
- And Audrey Roughead joined McGovern & Co!
This week, after 33 years, 7 months of dedicated service, we've had to say our goodbyes as she begins a new chapter in retirement.
